Reading: Joni Mitchell: Fear of a Female Genius. I love discovering an artist I love is unexpectedly influenced by another I love. In this case Destroyer and Joni.

The whole article is great but I loved hearing Dan Bejar describe how Joni’s late period records influenced him. Both make records seemingly out of style at their time but that will hold up better than and outlast their contemporaries.
